“Fur Peak” (Diān Hóng Máo Fēng) is a premium Yunnan black tea, celebrated for its fine golden buds, soft fur-like texture, and honey-sweet aroma.

“Diān” refers to Yunnan province, and “Hóng” means “red” (the Chinese classification for black tea). “Máo Fēng” translates to “hairy peak,” describing the downy golden tips and curled leaf shape resembling mountain peaks.

Diān Hóng Máo Fēng stands out for its velvety texture, rich amber liquor, smoky undertones and complex fruity accents of plum, papaya, cocoa, malt and flowers — offering both strength and elegance.

Origin

China (Yunnan province)

Color

Clear and glowing bright amber to deep reddish-gold

Aroma

Deep, layered, warm and inviting notes of cocoa and signature malt smokiness with mineral and metallic tones complemented by light honey aroma and fruity hints of plum, dried rose, papaya and light spices.

Palate

Full, velvety, creamy and smooth with gentle brightness: sweetness and depth of honeyed malt, caramel, cocoa, and roasted grain with floral notes of dried fruit (fig, raisin), rose petal, and light citrus zest.
