“Dragon Well” (Longjing) is China’s most famous green tea, originating from the Longjing (Dragon Well) area near Hangzhou in Zhejiang province.
Renowned for its flat, jade-green leaves and signature chestnut aroma, it represents the pinnacle of pan-fired Chinese green teas. The tea’s unique hand-pressing and roasting technique gives it a refreshing, nutty, and sweet flavor with a smooth, mellow finish.
High-grade Longjing (especially from West Lake / Xī Hú) is prized for its delicate balance of freshness, sweetness, and lingering umami.
