Temp: 80 °C (175 °F)
Steeping: 2–4 min
(start at ≈2.5 min, increase by 30 sec for stronger flavor)
Lasts for: 2–3 good infusions
Gongfu (concentrated, small-cup)
Tea: 6–8g (≈2–2.5 tsp)
Water: 100ml
Temp: 80 °C (175 °F)
Rinse: 5–10 sec
Steeping (increase by 20–40 sec):
– first 10–20 sec;
– second 40–50 sec;
– third 70–80 sec;
Lasts for: 6–8 infusions
Result: many short, very fragrant cups that evolve subtly.
